Volunteers Week 2024 is just around the corner, running from 3rd to 9th June. It’s a special time to celebrate the amazing volunteers who make our communities thrive. At National Temping Recruitment Ltd. (NTR), we’re excited to join in and honour these everyday heroes.
What is Volunteers Week?
Volunteers Week is a national event that shines a spotlight on the incredible work volunteers do. It’s a time to say thank you and to inspire more people to get involved in their communities.
NTR in the Community
Here’s a sneak peek at some of the things we get involved in the community:
- Local junior football teams – We have sponsored a number of teams across Widnes over the years.
- Donated a car to Reece & Rhea: We helped them get to the gym and back to help with their boxing careers by giving them a car each
- Community Projects: Our volunteers often help out in the community, working on projects like environmental clean-ups and supporting local food banks.
- Supporting Local Charities: Whenever we can, the team gets out in force to give a helping hand to any good causes that we can lend our time to.
How You Can Get Involved

- Become a Volunteer: If you’re passionate about making a difference, get in touch with some of your local charities or community clubs. They will always be happy to here from you.
